When presenting the award, Kathleen Reardon, NH Center for Nonprofits Executive Director said, “The team at Cross Roads House met the challenges of the pandemic head-on, ever focused on keeping their clients safe, and continuing their very important work of breaking the cycle of homelessness.”
“It’s especially gratifying to receive this recognition in a year when so many nonprofits went above and beyond during the pandemic,” said Martha Stone, Cross Roads House Executive Director. “No one could have envisioned the new challenges we faced last year as we worked to stay open and operational to meet the needs of our clients.”
In her remarks, Stone reflected on the past year, “Despite the pandemic, we’ve never stopped focusing on our mission, to meet the immediate needs of homeless families and individuals and provide them with the tools and guidance they need to successfully return to permanent housing. We’ve worked tremendously hard over the past year, and this recognition is truly appreciated.”
